Terms of use

Last updated

By using MinePlay (the “Services”) you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services.

Using the site

MinePlay is a free, fan-made website that lets you play browser-based Minecraft using the open-source Eaglercraft project. It is provided as is, free of charge, for personal non-commercial play. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. We do not host any copyrighted Minecraft game assets; the Eaglercraft client acquires what it needs as that project describes.

If you are playing at school or at work, following that institution's acceptable-use policy is your responsibility, not ours.

Accounts

One account per person. Keep your credentials to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Fair play

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for anything illegal or harmful;
  • harass, abuse or harm other players on listed servers or in shared worlds;
  • submit servers with misleading, malicious or inappropriate content;
  • run cheat clients, automated stress traffic, or attempts to break the relay or other players' worlds;
  • upload malware or try to compromise other users' accounts or worlds.

Content you post

You keep ownership of the worlds and content you create. Server listings, world names and descriptions must stay legal and civil, and by submitting one you confirm you have the right to. You grant us permission to display what you publish on the site, and we may remove any listing or content at our discretion.

Third-party servers

Multiplayer servers are operated by independent third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, conduct or data practices. Connect at your own discretion.

Availability

Servers and the relay may go down for maintenance, or for good. We make no uptime guarantee, and we cannot promise your browser-stored worlds will survive — export the ones that matter, and keep cloud backups on.

Limitation of liability

The Services are provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinePlay is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost worlds or data, arising from your use of the Services.

Trademarks

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. This site is an unaffiliated fan project and claims no rights to it.
